Poetry

By Carol Ghesquiere

Sky Person

Ono scene
Avant-garde queen
Creating multi-colored chords

Paradise and Hell boldly face each other
As the keeper of the wishing well gives us
Skywriting by word of art

Events, happenings, and music
Create windows into the soul of the ocean child
As she is making the flight

No more warzones, kurushi, or corners to turn as we are rising
For a while

Stop and listen at the door of a universe
(Open it when you wish to invite a rainbow into your life)

Your Friend and Mine

I saw him again today
He came up with the sun
He eclipsed his own death

Not as a deity, but as a poet and an artist
Not to be worshipped, but to inspire
Not to show us the way, but to support our creativity as we witness his

He watched the wheels as he was skywriting by word of love
We have the advantage of viewing the immense talent of a great minstrel

His work does not end with his physical departure
We will see him again tomorrow
