More Poetry

By Jennette Ritchie

The mood so right,
The moon so bright,
His complexion so amazing,
In the wonderful moonlight

John looked at me,
I looked at him,
And we couldn't let,
Each other be

His arms wrapped around me so tight,
His cologne filling my senses making my emotions rise,
John standing there,
I'm completely mesmerized.

John I hope you know,
That I will always love you so,
For you are mine and I am yours,
And I'll love you more,
As the days and weeks grow old.

I have a friend,
His name is "Sir Paul"
And he's made my life so bright.

Without him my world would fall,
And my life would fade to gray,
He means so much to me,
I hope he knows that I'm always here.

"Sir Paul" I love you as my friend,
And cherish you in my heart,
till the end of my days.
