
Susan Ryan has been writing for more than 30 years. Immediately prior to her current career as a full-time mom, she was a professional in the publishing industry. Additionally, she has worked previously for the American Kennel Club and in the music industry. Rooftop Sessions is her first online publishing venture; however, she is a published writer and experienced editor of fiction, features, reviews, editorials, and news articles, with over 25 in-depth interviews and 200 book and music reviews to her credit. Her varied body of work has appeared in Newsbeat, Phoenix, the New Voice, Ha'or, the London Beatles Fan Club Magazine, Daytrippin' Magazine, the New York Daily News, and many other publications. She has been a Beatleologist since 1975 and has written fan fiction on and off during that time. She has been the moderator of discussion panels on fan fiction at the New York Metro, Chicago and Boston Fests for Beatles Fans for the past three years, and she was profiled in an article in the November-December 2001 issue of Beatlefan Magazine about this phenomenon in publishing.
