While my heart gently weeps I've loved you from afar Since all those years ago. While my soul gently weeps I've understood your struggle between living in a spiritual and materialistic world. I've tried to "Beware of darkness. Beware of sadness..." but now it overwhelms me While my heart gently weeps. If only I could've met you in the flesh and not just in Spirit For you are a kindred Spirit that ignited a flame in my Soul forever. Still...my heart and soul gently weep. What IS life? Without your love? Yes, I have loved you from afar Since all those years ago. I must remember, tho, That the "Darkness only stays at nighttime. In the morning it will fade away. All things must pass. All things must pass away." Since I've loved you from afar thru all the passing years My heart still gently weeps. My soul cries out in despair I cannot stop the tears. As your gentle soul passes from this concrete, materialistic world Carry my love with you to that peaceful, Higher Place. Go with Krishna, God, the Holy One who will love you throughout all Eternity. Meanwhile, my heart and soul are gently SINGING- REJOICING for having known you Until we meet face-to-face. |
