    A page devoted to fighting censorship of all kinds.  It contains news articles and information on how you can fight censorship, plus links to other anti-censorship websites and organizations.  If you believe in free expression, consider joining this organization!

  • The Elements of Style
    An online version of the classic reference work on English grammar by Strunk and White.  This slim little volume has saved many a writer from technical disaster, and is an absolutely invaluable resource for anyone who wants to put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard, as the case may be).  It's been around since 1918, and it's still the best!  (The website on which this book can be found also contains complete online versions of other grammar and usage reference books, as well as classic fiction, nonfiction and verse.) VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

    Everything you ever wanted to know about proper grammar and writing but were afraid to ask!  A marvelous resource for any writer.  Also includes the "ASK GRAMMAR" form, where you can submit your questions about proper English grammar to a real person for answers!  A must for all writers!  HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

  • "How To Write Almost Readable Fan Fiction" by Ms. Nitpicker
    A site with an excellent article about the craft of writing fan fiction, among other valuable tools.  The article itself is not specifically about Beatles fiction, but it is definitely applicable, and it is an amazing resource for anyone who wants to write high-caliber fan fiction of any genre and type.  A MUST-READ FOR ANYONE CONSIDERING A SUBMISSION!

  • "Dr. Merlin's Guide to Fan Fiction" by Melissa Wilson
    Another wonderful site with an extensive essay about fan fiction and all its pitfalls.  Also not specifically about Beatlefic, but applicable in any fan fiction situation.  Includes links to other fine articles on the subject, as well as "The Mary Sue Litmus Test!" ANOTHER MUST-READ WITH A LOT OF EXCELLENT INFORMATION!

  • "Too Good To Be True: 150 Years of Mary-Sue" by Pat Pflieger
    An absolutely marvelous paper, originally presented at the American Culture Association conference, March 31, 1999, in San Diego, California.  It is an in-depth look at the phenomenon of the "Mary Sue" character in fan fiction of all genres, and is a fabulous resource that can help you to avoid such disasters in your own work.  You know who you are...  HIGHLY RECOMMENDED -- DO NOT MISS THIS ONE!

  • A Taste Of Scouse
    Neil Pettitt maintains a wonderful site containing all things Liverpudlian.  The "Scouse Dictionary" is an invaluable resource for fan fiction writers and others who are looking to infuse that authentic flavor into their work!  Also includes the complete lyrics to every Beatles song ever recorded, a section on Liverpool humor, and even some recipes!

  • Baby's Named A Bad, Bad Thing
    Subtitled "A Primer on Parent Cruelty," this hysterically funny site outlines the worst travesties and perversions in baby-naming ever seen.  Reading this site is a fabulous resource for how NOT to name your fanfic characters!  RECOMMENDED READING FOR ANY FANFIC WRITER -- SO YOU KNOW WHAT NOT TO DO WHEN YOU NAME YOUR HEROINES!

  • Best of British: The American's Guide to Speaking British
    It is often said that Americans and Brits are two groups of people divided by a common language!  Mike Etherington has what is probably THE BEST guide to British slang and expressions on the Internet, as well as a companion book (which you can purchase through his site).  Contains a complete glossary of words and terms to suit any situation!  HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

  • "The Beatles: Live at 12 Cold Creek Street" by Tina Kukla

  • Beatlology Magazine
    Andrew Croft's Toronto-based magazine is the culmination of the efforts of some of the top collectors from around the world. It features articles on rare records and pieces of memorabilia in a format that allows readers to see, in most cases for the first time, these items in full colour.  In addition, fiction and articles from the Rooftop Sessions Archives have been showcased in special features.   • How To Speak Beatlish
